SITREP · Issue 002 · June 2026

The CTO is committed. The signal keeps compounding.

A monthly dispatch from Defense Nexus Technologies — building the network for national security, one validated conversation at a time.

From the Founder

The right partner, not the fastest.

June closed out with a decision that has been months in the making: our founding CTO is committed. His full details will come in a dedicated announcement in the weeks ahead once paperwork is complete. Finding the right partner has always been more important than finding the fastest one — and this month proved that patience was the right call.

One personal note: I tore my Achilles at the start of June. It slowed things down slightly on my end, but the team kept the pace. What follows is the June SITREP — what shipped, what's next, and where the energy goes from here.

Field Report · What Shipped

Where we made ground this month.

  1. TEAM · FOUNDING CTO

Our founding CTO is committed. Formal announcement soon.

After months of deliberate interviewing, our founding CTO is committed. He brings the technical depth and operator sensibility the platform needs at this stage. Full introduction and background will be shared in the coming weeks once the paperwork is complete.

Status: VERBAL COMMIT · FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT PENDING

  2. PRODUCT · V2 PROTOTYPE

Steady progress. Sections ready to demo.

The V2 build continues to move forward. My Achilles injury early in the month slowed a few pieces on my side, but the team kept the pace — several sections are now demo-ready and we're using them in early user conversations to validate flows and gather feedback.

Status: IN ACTIVE BUILD · DEMO-READY SECTIONS

  3. CUSTOMER · EARLY CONVERSATIONS

BMC continues expanding the early-user pipeline.

Mike "BMC" Colletta has kept up steady conversations with early customers and partner organizations. New partnership agreements were signed this month, and more conversations are progressing, and the pipeline of interested users and partners keeps expanding. The feedback continues to be consistent.

    Status: PARTNER ROSTER GROWING

  4. OUTREACH · ECOSYSTEM

    First outside conversations opened.

We began meeting with people across the broader ecosystem this month. Momentum is building, warm introductions are compounding, and the early conversations have been a valuable learning experience — refining how we tell the story and what resonates. We're being deliberate about who we bring in.

Status: EARLY CONVERSATIONS · DELIBERATE PACE

  5. PARTNERSHIP · ECOSYSTEM

    The partnership map keeps growing.

Conversations with potential partners and users continued at pace this month — mission-support organizations, prospective customers across the cleared community, and a widening set of ecosystem contacts. The pattern from every conversation keeps confirming what we already believed: the community has been underserved by tools that were never built for it.

Status: ACTIVE PIPELINE · NEW CONTACTS ADDED

The right partner is always worth waiting for. Months of interviewing came down to one decision, and the discipline of the process is what made the answer obvious when it arrived.

Next 30 Days · Priorities

Where the energy goes from here.

  1. 01

    Onboard the CTO.

Close paperwork, announce publicly, and get our new co-founder integrated into the build. This is the priority that unlocks everything else.

  2. 02

Keep building early customer and partner momentum.

Convert growing partner conversations into meaningful early-user commitments and partnership frameworks. Every conversation continues to sharpen the platform.

  3. 03

    Broaden ecosystem outreach.

Continue conversations across the community — partners, advisors, and supporters — while staying deliberate about the right people to bring around the platform.

If any of this resonates — let's talk.

User. Partner. Advisor. Or just someone who cares about better connective infrastructure for the national security community. The door's open.
